Blitzkrieg Stick Fog with 4-3 Loss
The Sunset District Fog and Port Huron Blitzkrieg provided some drama for the home crowd.

Port Huron picked up a win at Fog Park, toppling the Sunset District Fog, 4-3. Pitcher Mike Thornton was one of the reasons the Blitzkrieg triumphed. The last-place Blitzkrieg now have a win-loss record of 21-39.

Port Huron used the timely hitting of Arthur Witter to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blitzkrieg on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Witter said after the game.
