The Sunset District Fog got a strong performance from pitcher Steve Crabtree, who stymied the Port Huron offense en route to a win, 6-1, at Port Huron Park. In 7 innings, Crabtree surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. Sunset District occupies first place in the Silver AAA at 24-15.
It could have been a different outcome for Sunset District, had it not been for Kyung-un Mun, the 27-year old second baseman . Mun contributed a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put Sunset District up, 1-0.
"Steve was throwing strikes, locating well," said Sunset District manager Brady Bess.
