Humpbacks Suffer 2-1 Setback
The Hartford Pride had to overcome a fine performance from Alaskan pitcher Ben Brock to grab a 2-1 win at Pride Park. Brock allowed 1 run over 6.1 innings. The Pride now own a record of 13-17.

Hartford took a 2-1 lead on Mario Rodríguez's 7th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Rodríguez hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Alaskan pitcher Carlos Churen visibly frustrated.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Rodríguez told the Hartford Chronicle.
