Fighting Dachshunds Deal Blitzkrieg 6-4 Loss
The inspired effort of Port Huron shortstop Mike McKinney was not enough to prevent a loss, 6-4, to the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds. McKinney was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. The winning pitcher was Alberto Jiménez. His record is now 1-1. The right-hander went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 3 hits for the Fighting Dachshunds. Ellenburg goes to 13-14, Port Huron to 9-18.
