The Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds defeated the Alaskan Humpbacks, 6-0, in USSL Triple A action at Sea World. Ellenburg pitcher Anastasio Ayala had a standout performance. With the win, Ellenburg elevates its record to 2-4.

Ellenburg used the timely hitting of Don Hickman to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Fighting Dachshunds ahead, 3-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Fighting Dachshunds manager Marvin Hayes. "This one was nice to get."
