Flyers Fall to Lynx, 5-1
|
Calgary and Pennsauken got after it at Pennsauken Park.
The Calgary Lynx beat the Pennsauken Flyers, 5-1, at Pennsauken Park. Starting pitcher Alfredo Morales was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The loss makes Pennsauken 42-59.
Early in the game, right fielder Thomas Inge had a run-scoring double for Calgary. It was his 14th double of the season and put the Lynx on top, 1-0.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Inge said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
