Behind an impressive start by Josh Sargent, Plymouth beat Syracuse, 2-0. The Rocks now have a mark of 50-49.

Sargent, a native of O'Fallon, Missouri, was dealing all game. He kept Syracuse hitters off-balance, while giving the Rocks 8 quality innings. Sargent threw 103 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 7.

"Josh just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Plymouth manager Harris Harden.
