Kawamura Delivers Walk-Off Win for Reserves
The Athletic Club KC Reserves weathered a fine game by Pennsauken catcher Reginald Willard to upend the Flyers, 6-5, at KC Reserve Stadium. Willard went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Tony Rodríguez came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 4.1 innings. His record now stands at 5-5. With the win, the Reserves improved to 39-57.

The Reserves were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when shortstop Mito Kawamura turned a first pitch curveball from Jordan Murdoch into a 2-run double. The walk-off double sent a roar through the crowd and gave Athletic Club KC a thrilling 6-5 win.

"We found a way to get it done," Kawamura said.
