The Pennsauken Flyers picked up a win at Stark Stadium, knocking off the Syracuse Starks, 1-0. Starting pitcher Rex Manning was a big reason why. Jordan Murdoch closed the game out for Pennsauken, earning his 5th save. The Flyers improve their record to 37-56 with the win over Syracuse.

Pennsauken used a timely hit from Ricardo Martínez to get the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Flyers ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Gabriel Madrigal. "That was the problem."
