The home crowd had a good time watching the Tortolita Drummers and Sioux Falls Red Pandas get after it.

The Sioux Falls Red Pandas trumped the Tortolita Drummers, 8-5, at The Bamboo Forest. Sioux Falls first baseman Glen Ackland was terrific. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The win puts Sioux Falls at 50-43 this season.

Helping the Sioux Falls cause was Dylan Briggs. In the bottom of the fourth, the 27-year old second baseman had a run-scoring walk to make the score 4-2, Red Pandas.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Briggs told the Sioux Falls Today.
