Syracuse shortstop Iverson Allen had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 6-3. Stu Searle collected his 1st save. Syracuse is 7th in the Premier AAA with a record of 41-46.

With Syracuse leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Allen hit a changeup from Nicky Bogdan for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Starks ahead, 5-0.

"The vibe's good," said Syracuse manager Gabriel Madrigal. "We've got to keep it going."
