Red Pandas Come Up Short at Syracuse, 5-4
The Syracuse Starks topped the Sioux Falls Red Pandas by the score of 5-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Bill Gatacre. Gatacre was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Starks on the day. The winner in relief was Yoichibei Maekawa.
