Dogfish Head Rough Up Flyers, 11-2
|
The Milton Dogfish Head had no problem beating the Pennsauken Flyers, 11-2, at Milton Corner Tavern. Andy McGee led the way. He was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5 for Milton. Anthony Patterson picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 8-1. Earning his 1st save of the year was David Guerra.
Early in the game, McGee had a 3-run home run for Milton. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Dogfish Head on top, 4-1.
"We came in and got the job done. That's what it's all about in this business," said McGee.
The Dogfish Head, at 39-44, sit in 6th place in the Premier AAA.
