The Tortolita Drummers weathered a fine game by Pennsauken shortstop Fred McElroy to upend the Flyers, 4-3, at Pennsauken Park. McElroy was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. Tony Correa got the win, improving to 8-2. He worked 5.2 innings, giving up 3 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. Michael Pace was credited with the save for Tortolita, his 8th of the season.

Tortolita relied on the hitting of Domingo Segura to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put the Drummers on top, 4-2. For the game, Segura had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
