Red Pandas Deal Rocks 6-3 Setback
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas defeated the Plymouth Rocks, 6-3, at Plymouth Quarry. Sioux Falls left fielder Allen Dowiyogo had a superb performance. He was 2-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Benoît Lambert, the winner, improved to 5-2. He held the Rocks to 3 runs on 5 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 4. Kirby Perkins recorded the save, his 11th.

Sioux Falls used a clutch hit from Dong-soo Yi to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Red Pandas ahead, 6-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

Dowiyogo called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."

With the victory, the Red Pandas record now stands at 36-32.
