The Sioux Falls Red Pandas topped the Syracuse Starks, 2-1, in USPL Triple A action at The Bamboo Forest. The game was highlighted by the performance of Sioux Falls pitcher Sixto Bustamante. With the victory, the Red Pandas record now stands at 34-32.
Glen Ackland won the game for Sioux Falls when homered off Mario Méndez in the bottom of the 11th.
"We won," Ackland told assembled media after the game. "I guess that's all that really matters."
