Nobles Find a Way to Win
|
Juan Corona was in top form in a low-scoring contest between Bakersfield and Pennsauken. The Nobles right-hander helped his team beat the Flyers, 2-1. Bakersfield's record now stands at 41-24, placing them second in the Premier AAA.
The clutch hit was provided by Denny Forbes. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Jordan Murdoch in the bottom of the tenth.
"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Jesús Román.
