Red Pandas Pull Off Thrilling 1-0 Win in Extras
|
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas got a magnificent performance from pitcher Nicky Bogdan, who stifled the Bakersfield offense en route to a 1-0 Red Pandas win at The Bamboo Forest. With the win, Sioux Falls pushed its record to 20-15.
The Red Pandas procured the win, in large part because of designated hitter Alfred Howard Biggs. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said Bakersfield manager Jesús Román.
