Rocks Win, 6-1, Extend Hot Streak

The Plymouth Rocks bested the Pennsauken Flyers, 6-1, at Plymouth Quarry. Edward White was one of the standouts. He went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Plymouth pitcher Marvin McCall got the win. He's now 2-2. Álex López was tagged with the loss. The last-place Flyers have lost 4 consecutive games.
With Plymouth trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, White hit a 2-run single off Pennsauken hurler Álex López. It was the 14th hit of the season for White and put his team ahead, 2-1.
