Golden Cranes Stick Buzz with 4-2 Loss

Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes and Salt Lake City Buzz.
Santa Barbara Golden Cranes starter Kelly St. John was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Salt Lake City Buzz, 4-2. St. John got the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed 1 hit and walked 3 over 6.1 innings. St. John allowed 1 run.
Santa Barbara relied on the hitting of David Alcabú to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put the Golden Cranes on top, 3-1. For the game, Alcabú had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," St. John said.
The Golden Cranes move to 33-33 with the win, while the Buzz drop to 36-30.
