Golden Cranes Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Buzz
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes and Salt Lake City Buzz.

The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes picked up a win at Spirits Stadium, knocking off the Salt Lake City Buzz, 4-2. Starting pitcher Ed Jenkins was a big reason why. Chin-yau Tu recorded his 4th save for Santa Barbara.

The Golden Cranes got a big at-bat from center fielder Buddy Gordon. For the game, Gordon went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Santa Barbara a 2-0 lead.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Santa Barbara manager William Smith.
