Sacramento beat Austin at Mamba Park, eking out a 5-4 win. The win was due in large part to catcher Raúl Guerrero. He went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs. You-liang Xin, 1-2, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. Sacramento is last in the Menard's AAA with a record of 20-37.
In the top of the fifth, with Sacramento trailing 1-0, center fielder Esteban Ortega hit a 2-run single. The hit came off Lee tai hoi Chen and put the Redlegs ahead, 2-1.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Sacramento manager John Brown.
