The Port Royal Disaster got a magnificent effort from pitcher Andrew MacEwen, who kept Santa Barbara hitters in check en route to a 3-0 Disaster win at Ballpark of Port Royal. Port Royal currently is in 6th place in the Menard's AAA at 29-27.

The Disaster got a big hit from first baseman Rodger Parsons. In the bottom of the sixth, Parsons pounded a run-scoring double to left. His 3rd double of the season put the Disaster ahead, 2-0.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Santa Barbara skipper William Smith, "and it cost us."
