Hot Chickens Bump Off Disaster, 6-4

Nashville and Port Royal duked it out and the Hot Chickens came out victorious.
The Nashville Hot Chickens knocked off the Port Royal Disaster, 6-4, at Ballpark of Port Royal. Kenneth Elliott produced 1 single and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 1. Robert Carlson got the win, improving to 2-4. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 2. David Davidson got the save, the 9th for him this season.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Alex Hann? The Nashville left fielder had a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Hot Chickens on top, 2-1. For the game, Hann had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Elliott.
Nashville, at 22-17, holds down third place in the Menard's AAA.
