Black Mambas Pull Even With 2-1 Victory
|
The Austin Black Mambas got a magnificent performance from pitcher Zhong-shu Ang, who muffled the Sacramento offense en route to a tight 2-1 Black Mambas win at Sacramento Sanitation Station. Eric Ramírez was credited with the save for Austin, his 5th of the season. The last-place Redlegs have dropped 5 straight games.
Kuniyuki Sato, the 29-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Sato contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the first inning to put Austin up, 2-0.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Sato said.
