Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Tortolita Drummers and the Milton Dogfish Head. Tortolita won it, 3-1. Tortolita starter Boris Milatovic was in command. The save went to Isaac Gunner, number 1 for him. The win gives Tortolita a record of 4-1.

The Dogfish Head had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Drummers going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old second baseman Atticus Sappington came to the plate. Sappington hit a run-scoring double on a 2-1 fastball from Milton hurler Elvin Olson. It was Sappington's 3rd double of the year.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Sappington.
