Drummers Prevail, 6-5, Over Bakersfield

The Tortolita Drummers topped the Bakersfield Nobles, 6-5, in USPL Triple A action at Jerome Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Tortolita pitcher and New York, native Heath Brown. Tortolita goes to 2-1.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Frazer Gent? The Tortolita left fielder had a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Drummers on top, 6-0. For the game, Gent had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
