Lakers Run Win Streak to 6
|
Echo Park Lakers starter Eddie Walden hurled his team past the Las Vegas Flamingos, 5-1. The Lakers have now won 6 straight.
Echo Park used a clutch hit from Emory Mills to snatch the win. The center fielder belted a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Lakers ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit, but it was huge.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Echo Park manager Jordan Calhoun.
