Dirty Reds Come Up Short at Cape Coral, 3-2
|
The Cape Coral Hurricanes racked up a win at Factory of Sadness, bumping off the Dayton Dirty Reds, 3-2. Janghyun Han, who started for Cape Coral, pitched effectively for his team. Sun Tah, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. Cape Coral now sits in 8th place in the Third League at 10-12.
Cape Coral took a 3-2 lead on Nelson Fernández's 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Dayton pitcher Max van Capelleveen in the bottom of the seventh.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Han said.
