Year Ends for Mannus Klapwijk in MSL St. Louis Friday, May 1st , 2054 The doctors have spoken and Mannus Klapwijk of the MSL St. Louis Coeur didn't like what he heard. The 16-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Klapwijk sustained his season-ending injury during the MSL Long Island Lighthouse game yesterday at MSL St. Louis Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the MSL St. Louis medical staff reported Klapwijk had radial nerve compression and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9 months. |
