Waddell Selected SMSL's Top Player Friday, September 18th , 2054
The manager of the MSL Oakland Oaks said he thinks Floyd Waddell is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 18, but it will be hard to top the shortstop's 2054 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the USSL Mexican Summer League Most Valuable Player Award.
His winning campaign featured a .333 batting average and a .379 on-base percentage this year. In 48 games he piled up 67 hits, 7 doubles, no triples, 12 home runs, 36 RBIs and 33 runs scored.
