SMSL Gives Outstanding Pitcher Award Thursday, September 17th , 2054 The USSL Mexican Summer League announced today that Wes T. Walker has been chosen the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for 2054. The MSL Hollywood starter had everything working for him this past season as he soared to a 5-4 record. In his exceptional season Walker chalked up a 1.97 ERA in 64 innings with 73 strikeouts and 14 walks. Enemy teams hit .185 against him in his 10 starts. He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 10. Carlos Guzmán of the MSL Long Island Lighthouse finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Carl Zolman of the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds finished third with 2 first place votes.
