García Gets Award for Relief Work Monday, September 14th , 2054 He may only be 18, but Jason García of the MSL St. Louis Coeur has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the USSL Mexican Summer League. The reliever was today named the SMSL Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2054. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 6 saves in 19 relief appearances and 43 strikeouts in 35.2 innings. He had a record of 4-2 to go with his 1.77 ERA. He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 10. Ben Bramwell of the MSL Dayton Dirty Reds finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Chun-hua Zhào of the MSL Hollywood Shredders finished third with 1 first place vote.
