Luis González is August's #1 Hitter in SMSL Tuesday, September 1st , 2054 Luis González put together a good August to earn the USSL Mexican Summer League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to MSL Baltimore officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Bullets first baseman posted a .417 batting average with 6 home runs, 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This year González is hitting .309, produced 26 RBIs and 11 home runs, scored 24 times and gotten on base at a .362 rate. |
