Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Monday, August 24th , 2054 Gilberto Rodríguez of the MSL Mississippi Mockingbirds and José Mecedone of the MSL Oakland Oaks received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 3 and 4 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at MSL Mississippi Ballpark. For the season Rodríguez is batting .293 with 44 hits and 7 home runs. He has scored 20 times and batted in 14. This year Mecedone has a 3-6 record with a 4.96 ERA. |
