SMSL Names Best Player Monday, July 20th , 2054 It was announced today by the USSL Mexican Summer League that MSL Hollywood right fielder Keith Ortíz had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .667 batting average, 8 hits and 2 home runs. Ortíz also racked up 5 RBIs and scored 2 runs. Currently Ortíz is batting .360 with 6 home runs, 22 RBIs and 16 runs scored. |
