The MSL Montana hurler fanned 7 and walked 1 in the game and was singled out for praise afterward by the opposing manager. "He really kept us in check today," U-18 skipper José López said in postgame comments. "Everything looked to be moving. Seemed like the pitch was right down the middle and it went over down and away.
