PMSL Player of the Week Named Monday, June 8th , 2054 Armando Serna must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .636 clip, then the MSL Ft. Worth second baseman finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the PMSL Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Serna batted .636 (7-for-11) with 1 home run and 4 RBIs. A look at his season totals shows Serna with 3 home runs, .354 BA, .446 OBP, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. |
