3A- Honors Bompton Shortstop Monday, August 17th , 2054 This week's recipient of the M3L Low A Player of the Week Award is shortstop Kevin Smith of Bompton. Smith showed great patience at the plate, collecting 9 hits in 17 at-bats as he compiled a .529 average, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Smith is hitting .239 with 9 home runs and 33 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .326 clip and scored 31 runs. |
