Kelsey Walker Named PA-'s Best Player

Kelsey Walker took USPL Low A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 22.
For his spectacular campaign, the Athletic Club KC U-21 star has been named the 2054 USPL Low A Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the second baseman.
On the season he compiled a .316 batting average to go with a .391 on-base percentage. The native of California, Maryland also added 13 doubles, 1 triple, 31 home runs, 63 RBIs and 58 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Wilson Padilla of the Hudsonville Flanderses finished second in voting, while Roland Burris of the Fort Knox Centennial finished third.
