Great Year Gets Williams SAA Outstanding Hitter Award Wednesday, October 7th , 2054 Melvin Williams of the Northville Eclipse proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the USSL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award. Williams hit for a .295 average while collecting 103 hits, 28 doubles, 3 triples, 15 home runs, 64 RBIs and scoring 58 times. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10.
