Fat Cats Craig Welch Will Miss Season Friday, June 26th , 2054 When Craig Welch was hurt against the Marquette Miners, the Ottawa Fat Cats were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 25-year-old shortstop suffered a broken kneecap making a defensive play in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Welch would miss 4 months of the season. Welch is hitting .214 this season with 6 home runs, 14 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 24 hits in 112 at-bats. |
