Kansas's Gillett Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, September 7th , 2054 This week Les Gillett, first baseman for the Kansas Rainbeaus, hit his way to the USSL Triple A Player of the Week Award. Gillett put on a hitting clinic with a .400 average as he belted and battered SAAA pitchers for 10 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 9 runs. So far on the season Gillett is hitting .288 with 9 home runs, 28 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has 36 hits and played in 38 games. |
