Erickson Grabs PAAA Reliever of the Year Award Saturday, October 3rd , 2054 Robert Erickson has won the 2054 USPL Triple A Reliever of the Year Award, which at age 34 is a "milestone achievement" for the Alaskan Humpbacks reliever. "I feel accomplished to win this when there are other younger, stronger, harder-throwing guys out there," he said. The Sanford, North Carolina native's numbers speak for themselves, as he captured the award with 2 saves in 29 relief appearances, compiling 68.1 innings. He had 78 strikeouts and 15 walks, a record of 6-3 and an ERA of 1.45. He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Michael Pace of the Tortolita Drummers finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Fernando Marín of the Athletic Club KC Reserves finished third with 1 first place vote.
