Carlos Churen Injured, Out for Year Saturday, August 29th , 2054 The season is finished for Carlos Churen of the Alaskan Humpbacks. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Humpbacks reliever suffered radial nerve compression while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Sioux Falls Red Pandas. Team doctors said it would take at least 6 months to heal. So far this season Churen has no saves in no relief appearances with a 4-8 record and 4.50 ERA. |
