Roberson 5-for-5 for Jersey City
Tuesday, August 11th , 2054
5 times is the charm -- at least for Clifton Roberson.
The Jersey City Tritons right fielder tore up the Florida Men to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Psychos Ballpark today. The offensive onslaught from Roberson powered the Tritons to a 5-3 win.
"Roberson was a tough out today," Florida manager Burton Storey said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
Clifton Roberson hit a solo-shot off Beau Kelley in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
Roberson is currently batting .292 with 15 home runs and 35 RBIs.
