3L Names Outstanding Pitcher Award Winner Tuesday, November 3rd , 2054 The Detroit Elite have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Carlos Sandoval, this year's Menard's Third League Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Sandoval compiled a 10-4 record in 20 starts, tallied 161 strikeouts in 143.1 innings and recorded a 1.82 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .193 batting average against him. Cheol-han Cho of the D.C. Divided finished second in voting, while Miguel González of the Detroit Elite finished third. |
