Brown Gone for Season in Buckhead
Thursday, September 24th , 2054
The doctors have spoken and Cole Brown of the Buckhead Bowties didn't like what he heard. The 26-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Brown sustained his season-ending injury during the Colorado Billy Goats game yesterday at 5 Paces Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Buckhead medical staff reported Brown had a stretched elbow ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11 months.

To date this year Brown has compiled a 6-6 mark with a 3.68 ERA in 24 starts.
