Season May Be Over for Flamingos Sottrel Monday, September 14th , 2054 Spencer Sottrel has to call it a season. The Las Vegas Flamingos catcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Sottrel was injured while colliding with a player at a base. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn back muscle and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months. Sottrel is presently batting .208 with no home runs, 18 runs scored and 16 RBIs. His OBP is .311. |
