Monday, August 10th , 2054
In the twilight of his career, 35-year-old Jae-woo Ohm of D.C. recaptured some of the old magic last week and came away with the Menard's Third League Player of the Week Award.
"I've been playing since I was a kid," Ohm told reporters, "but you're never too old to feel the thrill of success."
Ohm outpaced the rest of the league's hitters last week, reeling off 9 hits in 18 at-bats, 3 home runs, and 4 RBIs to stake his claim to the award.
In 64 games Ohm is hitting .295 this season with 67 hits, 10 home runs, 30 RBIs, 8 walks, .325 OBP and has scored 37 runs.
